Mind Control

Mind Control

You know a very small percentage of people don't even know what mind control means.

Or how it works.

I'm talking about the ability to control “your own shit”

To know what you need to do in order to remain in control of your every thought, your every move, and emotion.

To take responsibility for every action that “ you choose” to do!

As a full-time coach and master mentor, this is a key teaching point I have to tackle every single week with my guys.

Emotional Intelligence

Emotional Intelligence

In today's society, there is a large emphasis on emotional intelligence it's a term that gets thrown around a lot, especially in the workplace. So what is it? The Oxford Dictionary defines it as

The capacity to be aware of, control, and express one’s emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically.

As a Special Forces Operator, I had to have my emotions under complete control, so that I could be the person I needed to be at any point in time. The contrast can be best depicted during my time overseas in Afghanistan. One minute you could be engaging the enemy in combat where emotions need to be controlled such as fear and anger, then switching to another emotional state when talking to the locals using emotions such as empathy or compassion. It was important to make sure that I could control them when necessary, as the last thing I needed was to be overcome with emotion or an emotion I didn't need in a critical moment.
